While this color scheme makes him cartoon-accurate like Ratchet, your all-red-torso idea would be more comic-accurate according to Ironhide's TFU illustration. So while I'm sure a fully transforming upgrade or all new figure accurate to the cartoon will happen someday, if they do a repaint of these molds (and these companies usually do if at all possible) I'd be much more interested. While there may not be as much demand for comic-colors Ironhide, they'd be quite justified in doing a comic accurate Ratchet, since he's one of the few early Autobots whose Marvel persona had 10 times more character and depth than his cartoon counterpart, instead of the other way around. They tried to give his head the red-helmet+white-face-and-boomerang look on his Universe 2.0 SUV toy, but managed to get it backwards, so as far as I'm concerned, Ratchet's proper color scheme has gotten no toy love to this day. I don't have either of their original toys, so I'm tepid about this upgrade too, but do the comic repaints and I'm sold. I
Actually, I'm hoping we someday get a Masterpiece Ironhide that can deploy every pop-out weapon and gadget he ever used in the cartoon. Sculpt a Ratchet head, and they could do almost as many repaints of it as MP Starscream.
