New Animated Target 2-packs

It looks like Target is up to their old tricks again, releasing even more Animated 2-packs. This time around they include a Voyager class Animated Figure, and an Activators Animated Figure(contrast to the previous Deluxe + 2 Legends figures)

They are:

Sunstorm & Activators Ratchet

Image

and

Shockwave & Activators Bumblebee

Image

I'm not entirely sure if Shockwave is different from the previous Longarm figure, but I do believe so. This one is purple, while the previous was dark green.

(I'll try to mirror these as fast as I can) - Done

Cheers,

Wow, Target gets all of the Exclusives anymore.

I'm pretty much done collecting Animated, save for a couple of select figures, but I'll be skipping regular Shockwave for this one.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

I agree, I like these colors a lot more as well. But what will I do with that Bumblebee?

D: These are awesome compared to Stealth Lockdown and butt ugly Ratchet!

My one concern is that why they choose Sunstorm and not go into a classic line and put out Thundercracker, or correctly correct color Starscream.

I really don't know what to think of Sunstorm.
Shockwave is awesome, I'll be getting that one to display as shockwave and the original to display as Longarm.

I just want to know if the female clone is getting a toy? Everyone else seems to be getting one.

Exactly what I was thinking, I just picked up Shockwave last night and was thinking (well this is a nice scam, now I need two of this figure). Guess I was wrong, this is a nice suprise. I will also have to get Sunstorm in hopes of eventually balancing out the Bot/Con levels.

Sunstorm looks good, but Shockwave's a step backwards if you ask me. His colour seems garish compared to the more mechanically oriented colours on his original (Animated) toy.

The Sunstorm is gorgeous, though he pales in comparison to his leader, the original Starscream. Will this be released as a single?

Shockwave =P~ . I'm a sucker, I'm buying this and the blueish one.

Yeah but some of the G1 fans are pleased with this recolor. Imagine what fans would have said if he was repainted in any other color but purple?

I'd buy one of those if it were to come true. It'd be far more appropriate than the colours this never version sports.

I'm only gonna get Sunstorm (unless he gets released alone without the Actvator Ratchet, which I don't want). at last, the Sycophant clone has a name! But why does he have so much red in jet mode?

This Shockwave doesn't look so good in these colors. It just doesn't look right. Had his body been more G1-like (like Energon Shockblast did), then I might reconsider. But for now, I'll get regular one.

Plus, I've already got Activators Bumblebee, so this inclusion of him also turns me off this set.

I want both but i already have both activators! Whatever I'm still getting them, as long as they are around the voyager price tag. Bonus! The decepticon insignia on sunstorm and shockwave are purple!

Man, Sunstorm looks very good, than again, it is a Starscream redeco and a very good homage to that concept. That's why I love Transformers Animated, it's a great homage to G1 in more than one way.

Oh right I totally forgot about that! Their molds are very alike. Maybe you should shoot that idea to Hasbro you might get your username on the toy :P

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

Okay, Shockwave in his accurate colors and people aren't liking it? Sheesh.
I was on the fence about Animated Shockwave until I saw this. He will NEVER be displayed as Longarm in my household once I have a color-accurate version. That's for sure (may seem extreme, and I'm not a G1 fanatic, but Shockwave has been my favorite character since I was a kid).

The big question is WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO BE AVAILABLE???

PURPLE AND BLACK SHOCKWAVE!!! Glad I didn't buy the boring gray one!

Kique wrote:Sunstorm looks great !! I WANNA !!!! Can these 2 Packs be bought online?

Target sells some exclusives online, but not others. Their Universe exclusives are available online (the Legend 5-packs and the Springer/Ratbat and Roadbuster/Dirge 2-packs), but their Animated exclusives (Rescue Ratchet and Stealth Lockdown) are in-store only. So I suspect these will be in-store only. But I MUST have that purple-and-black Shockwave.
