I do remember Aaron saying that there was a possibility of Hasbro doing an MP Starscream. I figured that if they did, it'd be done in G1 colors, but I was kinda hoping that they would still have stuck with the original/1st mold that we saw. Now all we need is some official confirmation, then I'll be happy.

Hasbro has no eason to make this. They have the novie line and the heros line will be out after it. If they arent continueing the Alt line why would they make this? Im very doubtfull that hasbro would make more MP figures for the states.

I love MP-03, but I still want this if it's true. If it is, I really hope it's Hasbro, so it'll be cheaper.

I hope to god that Hasbro doesn't do this as a release, and Takara does.. The Hasbro packaging with all those damn Twistie Ties is freaking horrible!!! I say release MP Skywarp and then MP Anime Accurate Starscream Complete.. which includes coronation garb and shoulder pads with removable cape!!!

I will say this though, If Hasbro does do this as a Release, and they do toughen it up some, then I'm okay with that, I just hope they give it some hardcore Cardboard box, and not that flimsy easily dent-able ****!!!

Hasbro also has a tendency to add battle damage and crap like that, and their paint applications and colored plastic molds use the cheapest colors they can find..

I do think it does look a little too nice to be a Hasbro release... but then original release 20th Prime was nice in my opinion.

Yes sir. In standard issue Hasbro packaging, this thing will be busted before they tape the box shut.

well if its in a box similar to the prime figure that was released in north american, it should stay in good condition. that box wasn't super sturdy but mine is still in the box and it doesnt show any wear and tear despite how often i've moved it around.

of course if this starscream comes here and i get it, boxes will go in the closet so i can display them properly cuz i'm a nerd like that :grin:

The null rays is correct. Skywarp is just pulling your wing about the cloning. Megatron did clone Starscream once. the rest is animaiton errors.

This is a custom paint job. There are a few spots were the paint doesn't look uniform despite the "battle damaged" look and you can almost see the darker blue color underneath. The tail fins show this the most, but if you look at the null ray you can see it too, as well as part of the wing.

I might be wrong but I just don't want to seem over eager to say this is an official release yet. I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed.

The other thing that bothers me is why did they remove the tail fins in bot mode. I believe it was already mentioned in an earlier post but I think the only reason someone did this was to make it look more cartoon accurate. It's still the MP-03 mold. Someone just removed the part for aesthetics. This section is also a part that many have complained about as well. Notice the ball joint where the tail fin attaches is exposed. You can compare it to the original version.

The good thing is at least for me, now I can buy that MP Starscream reprolabels set.

I don't think Hasbro is gonna release this. I bet this is gonna be in Japan exclusive. Maybe MP-6 or something. Stilll it looks beautiful. The only thing that kills me from this mold is the size I would have love if at least was like 10 inches tall. He looks so scrawny and small with MP Megatron and MP Prime.

YES! To quote Megatron, "I've been waiting an eternity for this!" I passed on MP Starscream in hopes it would be repainted in G1 colors. 2 small complaints though. I don't like the black burn-like marks on him and I'd like his cockpit to be a little more orange. I think they are going for a toy accurate color scheme though rather than a cartoon accurate. Which is fine with me. I personally hate the baby blue on the anime accurate version.

Its a good thing he will not be coming packaged in those plastic clamshell packages, those things almost need a blowtorch to open.
