Lithographs are original works of visual art created by an artist and printed by an artist. This point of view is confirmed by U.S. Customs and U.S. Copyright Law. The marketing and promotion of reproductions as lithographs to sell DVDs is deceptive.
All legitimate artists who create works of visual art like lithographs, not to mention those who sell fully disclosed reproductions would appreciate full and honest disclosure to these reproductions as reproductions.
Otherwise, it is poisons the marketplace and creates unfair competitive practices.
Thank you for your consideration.

It's not the website's fault that they're calling these things lithographs. The Seibertron news staff is just reporting the news. If you want to attack folks, go after the ones putting out the "lithographs."
It's the same thing that goes with all types of art, like giclees or "limited edition" prints, etc. The terms get thrown around so much that only those in the business really understand the terms.
Now, let's get back onto the subject: holy @#%@#$% batman, that's a lot of different exclusives. Thank god I just collect figures.
trilobitepictures wrote:*sigh* So many exclusives... I'm glad they're relying on the quality of the movie to actually sell the damned thing. Nothing says "we have a really well-done, classic-for-the-ages movie on our hands" like having 6 billion versions of one movie, each it's own cheap gimmick.
To the idiot thinking of buying all of them... a fool and his money should be happy that they found each other in the first place.
