(better not as in more explosions, more romance, more crap.)

Better as in better characterization, less ponitless human characters and more screentime for the stars of the show AKA the 'Transformers'? Yes I'd like to see that although in order to achieve a better film they may need a better director too. :P

And they need a better cameraman who is able to hold the camera still and film without seeming to be in the middle of an earthquake.

Actually that is part and parcel of Bays directorial 'Style' is Bay were to go that may well go with him. I would certainly enjoy being able to see the action without having to wait for the DVD so I can pause, slow down and rewatch scenes in order to work out what is actually happening.

More Megatron and Starscream. Come on. They ARE the show. Everyone else is just along for the ride.

Starscream? Which one was Starscream? :P

Honestly that is the responce you'd get from most people unfamiliar to Transformers who went to see the movie this summer. He was bearly present in the movie.

In response to the hate of the human heavy movie - My girlfriend only liked the movie because of the humans. If it were all robots she would have hated it. Humans are very important to keep the mainstream interested.

The only problem is they tend to give humans far too much focus. It is Transformers the movie after all, not Humans the movie co-starring the Transformers.

Giving them all the focus is just a major cop out. Taking the safe route to money rather than making it the way it should be made.

But then, it would be foolish to expect anything else. =(

In response to the "those of us who have played the game know welker still makes a good megs" i have to say no, he doesnt. That voice does not suit the new design of megatron plain and simple. Plus Frank is sounding too old for megatron now.

I believe the srtike is a writers guild strike, so where is it that he is not standing by his fellow filmmakers during a strike. He wants to do another movie in between now and may, I dont see a problem with it because like he has said and from the lack of news that paramount/dreamworks is most likely dragging their feet. No writers to write movies= no movie to direct means no paychecks for any directors while the strike is ongoing, and then however long it takes for hollywood to ramp back up production. The reason they are trying to crank out so many movies by may is because 1. they dont know how long it will last if it does happen, and 2. when they do go back to work it will still be a decent period of time before anything gets developed.

I just love it when something about bay comes out and with it out comes all of the "haters" that just want to talk **** just so they can say they talked **** about bay. Now I am not referencing those that have expressed their dislike for him or his movie style from day one (you know who you are) but rather the people that pop out of nowhere and proclaim blind hatred for no apparent reason other than at this point in time its the trendy thing to do.

lol...how sad. I like how people are judging bay as a person, despite the fact that NONE of you have ever met him or know him personally, based on how he acts as a businessman.
You would do the same thing if you needed to make money, or wanted to rather.

Seriously people....get real.
