I bought several upgrade kits for my Legacy "Nemesis" Scourge. All of these are 3D printed and pre-painted. I also bought a cape that was supposed to work with SG Magnus, but it work way better here. I also used some leftover Reprolabels and I ordered the :COMBATICONS: faction symbols. Finally, a 5mm hose for good measure.
The handle that hold the hose is one of two that came with an upgrade kit. Here it's its original form. A very, very fragile form.
Here, you can see the adapter I made for the other end of the hose.
Nemesis Scourge look bad-ass. But he was missing a shield so I made one.
One of the kit's handle is used for the shield. That one broke later when I removed it for transformation.
I had to mod them for solidity.
The other problem was that his elbows are just pinned in so they were very weak and couldn't even hold his weapons. So I removed the pins (GOD was it hard to do!) and replace them with a tight bolt-nut.
The back-leg fillers won't allow the storage of the sword but it's all right. Here, something else are stored. The truck's smokestacks. Part of that kit were tiny STEEL pipes that were supposed to slide over the OG stacks to makes them longer. Butter fingers and the laws of leverage made short work of those stacks. So I had no choice but to shave them off completely and I came up with Smoketacks of my own. They partform but eh.
The truck mode is very Mad-Max style. I drilled some 5mm holes on top and I even screwed in place the adapter that came with the Legacy Core class Skywarp upgrade kit. One handle is removed from the shield and is used for the hose on top. Two missiles pods are on the sides of the trailer, and the rest of the accessories fit neatly inside the trailer.
The truck have the new smokestacks plugged on the back, while the shield store and fold on top. Finally, an adapter is used to hitch the trailer onto the truck to allow it to turn.
By the way, the :COMBATICONS: symbols were black on clear. So I had to stick some on plain silver labels and then cut them up so that we can see them.
This may be a "light custom", but some heavy mods were still involved. Especially fixing the arms. Overall, I'm glad of the final results.
