Just bought him today, the only thing that bothers me is why they didn't give him smokestacks... on the box he have them, on the toy he doesn't... I was so close to go back to the store and get a replacement because I thougth he was flawed... and it's a 30 kms trip to go there and back home...

Maybe it's that the Powerizer one is more show-accurate, while this one is a remold of BH Optimus, with the wings and all?

Once the Cyberverse-Commander-enlarged-to-Voyager Magnus comes out, Optimus should review all the Prime Ultra Magnuses in in the Crisis of Infinite Magnus special, to help us sort out which is best. I already bought the Powerizer, 1st Cyberverse, and Platinum (for the best forge), so I don't see any burning need for this particular one...unless someone definitively shows me otherwise.

I don't get this... BH UM is quite show accurate (and is a remold of RID Optimus, not BH) just don't peg in the jetpack, and you're done. But this is not an answer to my doubt about the missing smokestacks... was it just to spare a nothing of plastic per toy?

I said maybe because all the Magnuses are blurring together in my mind and I didn't know. You're right, I just haven't paid much attention to that particular figure.

Is there even a place smokestacks could be pegged in if a 3rd party company came through for us, or could Powerizer Optimus's stacks be cannibalized? If the latter, it'd be nice if one of his cases started turning up in TJ Marshaxx or other discount stores again.

But who knows what Hasbro's thinking with all these different modified versions of Magnus at once? In a way it's nice to see them do it for someone other than Bee and Op, but still...

The original mold is RID Optimus, so there are the holes for the smokestacks on the panels, that's why I thought mine was flawed. If you have a spare/broken Optimus you could take those and fix it.

As for the review, too bad these won't ever get here in Italy. I still miss a Cyberverse Shockwave and Hardshell mold is just amazing enough to make me want another one.

Actually, I'm just really glad you shared your Youtube, Twitter and Google plus handles. You guys should do that more on the Twincast podcast or even at the end of each episode. You always make reference to stuff you're posting or working on, but you don't always give out the needed info for us to find it. There are losers like me out there that want to check that stuff out! Just realized: He was Shockblast in Energon and Laserwave in Superlink, allowing us to transpose the syllables to Shockwave and Laserblast. Now he comes with Bombshock who's a repaint of Hardshell, allowing us to rearrange for the names Bombshell and...Hardshock. That's new. Ah, the fun our favorite brand has with name changes for foreign markets and trademarks!

Still think you should maybe use a rating system of some sort...

So you... DIDN'T like it? Your "review" is pretty "fair and balanced", to the point where you don't say much (or enough) offensive things about this abomination (see what I did there? ). Bad gimmicks aside, I think this combiner is terrible and I refuse to pay Hasbro any more money for an awful job.

Even on discount, I'd steer away from this mess!

Yeah, I'm also posting here, then relaying it to Facebook, then doing the same for the previous videos. I'm not on any other social media, so that'll have to be enough.

I'm assuming each comment has to have something to do with the video or else it doesn't count, but that's mostly because it'd be beneficial to my tendency to say too much; considering the dumb complaints he's gotten about the number of hoops we're jumping through, he's probably not that fussy.

Still, this figure...I'm honestly torn between the two packaging variants, which could lead to me snoozing and losing altogether. Well, also factoring in that this seems like more of a downgrade, as it ties him to an environment the 'Cons never really needed more help in, like he's Mega-Aquaman-ta-tron.

I suppose if some of those Iacon relics had ended up underwater...which they should've if Alpha Trion was just randomly shooting them at Earth. Kind of like how all throughout Dragonball, only once out of all the different times they searched for the balls did one show up underwater, during the Red Ribbon Saga.

No, wait, there was an encrypted record of their locations, so I guess Alphie was targeting specific points on Earth. So this toy just reflects the amount of time Megs spent underwater after he died...and rusted badly, judging by the color scheme.
