Looks like a giant grasshopper and LMAO I think he is wearing a cowboy hat !!! Why cant they just limit the "ROTF" line to characters from ROTF ???

Because they're milking Paramount's production money for all its worth, before they have to part ways and have to produce the next line of TFs all on Hasbro's dime, while appealing to some of us that don't particularly like the ROTF designs (like myself)

Another example: Armada Megatron. That's not a bad blend of those two colors either.

I tend to think the glossy promotional pictures that Hasbro puts up tends to deceive the customers. How many of us have been fooled by the great photography on the back of the boxes or cards of ROFT toys?

After a while you'll get use to the fact that, what's on the back of the box/card is too good to be true.

Is that why a relatively obscure character like Bludgeon gets a Voyager tank alt mode while Classics Galvatron got stuck with Deluxe due to too many Voyager tanks? That being said, if this fits into the Classics aesthetic, I am so getting it. :-)

I'm just happy to see such a good version of Bludgeon. The colour scheme, the design elements like the skeletal face, and the weapon accessories(finally a sword for the guy!), all add up to a must-buy figure for me.

I'm a firm believer that Galvatron didn't deserve to be stuck in Deluxe but at least he has had more opportunities in the various toylines for representation.

It's about time that Bludgeon gets what I think is a proper mold.

This guy has some pretty pointy edges to have an alt tank mode.

Well, it's a countermeasure for the possible situation in which opponents will run up to Bludgeon in alt mode and try to smother him with hugs. Because, well, look at Bludgeon. He's obviously extremely cuddly and a magnet for warm fuzzy snuggly huggles.

It seems like the people saying "it looks like he's wearing a cowboy hat!" aren't even aware that this character's appearance (and code of honor) are based on a samurai. His original figure was a Pretender whose shell was a skeletal/undead samurai, and samurai wore elaborate helmets.

I think most people who know of G1 Bludgeon know of the kabuto styled helmet. It's just that the toy in the photo looks like it has a cowboy hat.

You know, for some people, knowing isn't even *half* the battle, based on some video clips I've watched on RubeTube recently. I'd say *not knowing* is *all* of the hostile confrontation for some folks.
