But isnt what makes Swoop who he is the fact that his dino head is made up of his robot head? Even the small minicon had that aspect. A single head still wouldnt make him classics enough for me. And anyways, those heads are mistransformed on the pic making it look really silly.

He would be fine with them. The red might be different but it's a different mold from a different era so making him a little different works well.

While they are brickish, I find that the deco on them is amazing! They look so good as simply toys. And Snarl most of all, I just love the way his dino legs fold away, it's a smart transformation and a really good looking toy. His tail flaring in the back adds some cool bling, making him look like a King.

The G1 decoed FoC Grimlock from that AoE two-pack with deluxe Silver Knight Optimus Prime will remain my classics, Grimlock. That's a perfect G1 update as far as I'm concerned, fat tail and all. I still might consider Energon Swoop, though, for his one-headed beast mode and blue torso.
Good call on energon Swoop! And that 2 pck Grimlock is a great Classics Dinobot, dont know who I would place these guys with. And lastly, this set will be at least 120$ US. The other platinum dinobot set with the same amount of voyagers and deluxes was that cost and I dont know if Hasbro/TRU wil charge an extra premium for the fact that its a retool.
