This could have been the perfect chance to give us a Bulletbike or Override homage, but instead you make a crappy version of a toy/figure/character when there was already a pretty much perfect Wreck-Gar out there.
I wouldnt call a toy prone to breakage perfect. Also we had an amazing Onslaught (universe) but no one's complaining about the new one we got. I dont much like this Wreck Gar either due to its size but I would very much like a new one that didnt have exposed hands, that wasnt prone to breakage and that fit well together. The "perfect" one we got wasnt that perfect to me.

He might be! There's nothing to suggest that that's out of the question! remember....FOC Bruticus! he was sold as a box set AND individually at TRU(that's where I picked mine up from) & they were individually sold, but we just don't know yet! & at places like Comicons & online toy stores....YES you'll definitely have the option of buying him as a box set.
just don't know how TRU are going to be selling those yet as.
We do:
Devastator is not getting an individual release for his components by Hasbro. The box set is intended for regular retail release (unlike what was the case for the examples you stated).
steals_your_goats wrote:So Sky Lynx is a combiner now and if I remember correctly his rival was Predaking. So can this almost be considered as a Predaking confirmation? Also I wonder who is going to be the wave 5 combiner. They seem to be alternating autobot and decepticon combiners, so with optimus Maximus being wave 4, it stands to reason that a decepticon combiner is next.
While it was established that there wasnt that pattern, Hasbro also has shown us that the combiners dont all share the same scale. While G1 had a bunch of combiners, only those from scramble city have been redone in the combiner wars scale of 4 deluxes and a voyager. Devastator wasnt part of that scale and thus isnt made to be anyone's rival in the line and while Predaking was made of 5 robots, He was not part of scramble city in G1 and wasnt made up of 4 smaller bots and a bigger one (they were all very big bots of the same size). If I were a betting man, I would think Predaking would end up getting a titan release eventually rather than just be another scramble city combiner since he was never that (unlike Abominus, Computron and Piranacon)
Why does everyone seem to think that HasTak can throw out new molds at no extra cost? If they don't use a mold several times, then they make no money off of it.
That last line of yours goes against a lot of what Hasbro has done in the past. Does this mean
Hasbro made no money off Leader Sentinel Prime, or animated Sentinel Prime, or HFTD Leader Starscream, or DOTM Voyager Megatron, or the recent Waspinator, Scoop, Rhinox, Brainstorm, Rattrap, Generations Minicon 3 pack and on and on and on.
Caelus wrote:Weirdness will be if they retool Sky Lynx into Transformers Prime Predaking, so that he can combine with Predacons, to make... Predaking?
Side note: Is it strange that I kind of wish Sky Lynx's combined form wasn't anthropomorphic?
I think it looks weird too, though it might be better served for a LioKaiser redeco by the club (I would rather have that than a "Bludgeon combiner").

I'm actually impressed myself with Shockwave, although doesn't he look very FOC?
I totally agree on that, thats what I thought of right away. Both seem to be cybertronian scapeship/cannon hybrids.
