Fan2Fan has updated their website with some new information and pictures. This time we get some really clear and detailed images of the upcoming Transformers Sports series, which features Megatron and Convoy as Nike Shoes. We get some new images of the packaging they will be coming in and yup you guessed it, they are shoe boxes. Another nice tidbit they put on these 2 figures, is that they are wearing their own pair of Nike 7.0 shoes.
To see the original post, as well as clearer images of Music Label Soundwave and Rumble and Frenzy Ear Phones, head over to Fan 2 Fan.

Not bad. I like Megatrons head sculpt and arm cannon.

The sculpting and paint apps look a bit rough in those pictures, but offensive? I don't see it. Tis just another TF product that raises a quizzical eyebrow, like TF plush and the triumphant return of Throttlebots in the movie line.

On word.
PASS!
The concept is plain screwy. And the execution is as poor as you'd expect an atempt to hide a robot in a shoe would be.

I have both preordered at BBTS. It is a interesting concept, and I happen to like them. But to each their own!

Megatron seems like a good fit for Nike, a company that refuses to denounce slave labor, but doesn't Optimus believe that freedom is the right of all sentient biengs?

Nope you're not just seeing things. Same figure, different paint, head and weapon.
Lord these things are just so insanely stupid and horrible. People complain about Chevy having brand right for the Autobots in the movie....Yeah this is a whole different ball game from that when it comes to marketing.

I completely agree. Nothing says fighting for freedom when your altmode has been made by underpaid malnourished exploited third-world children.
On a lighter note, wait - he's wearing shoes, and he turns into a shoe... He's wearing himself? Paradox!

Are they made entirely or hard plastic or are they made of the normal shoe materials such as immitation leather and other fabrics?

These are plastic and no you can't wear them.
Transformers toys are created in factories overseas and no in the USA...ask yourself why...then criticize NIKE and any other high end athletic or other clothing corporation including toy companies, for hiring cheap labor overseas and exploiting them.
If you are going to criticize that way, I hope all the clothes and shoes you wear, and items you purchase say made in the USA...
EDIT: They do make a wearable version of the same shoe, there is just no Prime or Megatron inside.

It's something really different, and done well, so I like them. All the little extras like the packaging, just make me like them more.
My only complaint, 1 shoe per box. finding a way to make these come in pairs would be nice.
