Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

The levels where too long, but the game itself was super short, the controls where mediocre and the multiplayer sucked compared to ROTF's. I beat the entire game (Autobot AND Decepticon) in a single sitting.
I still want this game, but I won't be able to get it until my birthday. I don't even know if I'll be able to get it then either.

I guess you and i played 2 different games cause as both a gamer & tf fan i thought WFC was an excellent game. First off its not short, if you play on easy yeah it is but on normal it took me around 13 hours to beat the game the first time. Real gamers actually look around for secrets and extras not just blow through it to advance the story quicker. And there is no such things as a level being to long, games should not last 5 hours and you shuoldnt be able to beat a level in 10-15 minutes. The online was 10 times better than ROTF, it had co-op, "hoard mode", and the ability to customize and level your online characters. Not to mention the online was actually fun and different. ROTF was like call of duty bland and uninspired. Why do i have the feeling that you think halo and CoD are the best things since the wheel was invented?
Tyrannotaur wrote:I beat the DOTM Campaign today. Its a prequel to DOTM and kinda explains a few things that I guess will be touch upon in DOTM the movie. Overall it was fun. Had some really cool levels and combat. My only problem is that its kind of short and only has one strand of levels instead of two Faction Campaigns. Also the Symbols that you shoot make a comeback, which is cool. Though no level specific things, like finding all the Laserbeaks in the Prison level of WFC.
Oh and Mirage is called mirage and sounds a bit like Ezio from Assassin's Creed and Wheeljack is called Wheeljack not Que. So I guess they are never mentioned by name in the film or Nelson is full of it.
Online is basically the same as WFC with some differences. You level up alot faster than WFC. They renamed all the classes. But you can still customize all the characters and change the colors, same colors from WFC btw (So no Thundercracker blue for Starscream.)Theres Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch and Conquest. They removed Code of Power or w/e that other mode was. Also as far as I can tell there is only one type of grenade. Its still fun, just feels a bit limited to WFC.
Also for whatever reason Shockwave can't Transform and kinda sucks because of that.
I used my Gamestop code and got Sideswipe, but I also have Ratchet so I think he is unlocked from the story mode or something like Shockwave is.
Overall its a fun game. Though I still think WFC is a better game. Although this being a movie game and actually being fun is surprising. The only fun movie games I ever played where ROTF, and Spider-man 2. They all usually suck due to rushed development. I do recommend it if you liked WFC and ROTF. I hope we get some DLC characters soon. Maybe when the movie is out.

Why do people always bitch and whine about "skill"? Who gives a damn what kind of skill you have? Who are you trying to impress with these so called "skills"? I doubt anyone cares.
And that's why I liked being Starscream in ROTF. It made things easier. Why the hell would I run around and make things more difficult when I can just blow the crap out of someone who can't see me? It's a video game. That's why they gave us flying characters so we can make the most of them!

Haha, i'm not trying to impress anyone, i'm pointing out that the game is too easy, and therefore boring. No challenge = no fun.

Learning to win = fun
Do you remember how freaking hard oldschool games were? but they were FUN if you put time into figuring out how to win. Its all about the challenge. I will admit though, that if you were playing co-op campaign with a few noobs, who constantly die, its pretty much the worst game experience ever.

I've been playing DA 2 over and over again for the past week. It is awesome. I know a lot of people hated it compared to Origins, but Origins bored me and frustrated me to no end. But it was epic. I've beaten Origins once and I've beaten DA2 at least 4 times now, and working on my 5th and 6th.
I'm not getting DOTM until the price drops either. I hear it's short.

So who am I supposed to believe?
I'm quite particular about replayability and game length, as these PS3 games aren't exactly cheap.

I've read every review and that's the only one which said the game was long. Every single other review says 4-5 hours and remarks on how "short" it is. Even the people I know who have finished the campaign said it was over very quickly.
I must admit that the Game Chronicles review was almost a little too effusive. It seemed like it was written by a hardcore TF fan who was going to praise it regardless of what it was like.
I'm still getting it but even I think $60 is too much for a short campaign and only 3 modes and 5 maps in multiplayer.
