Takara doesn't like to do small runs of toys especially if its going to be a new mold unless they can use it elsewhere.
Also curious to see how much these will go for on ebay, he might end up being common enough.

They had an online game featuring several "original" designs. http://chevyautobot.com/ Been wondering how long it would take for them to make these into actual toys.

The rep did say that their new promotions will begin on September the 5th, and that I could call back to see if the details are available then.
He did say that it sounded a little weird, that they would require buying a car in order to get a toy.
I guess I'll call them back in a week and see if any good news pops up about it.
