Clear Mirage sounds interesting but we need a "clearer: picture (i.e. him out of the bag). The other exclusives are very relevant to my interests! I am not susprised Armorhide got recolored as Huffer since the mold fits him well! I think I have thought about sucha a possiblity. WeirdWolf is certainly a nice choice for a repaint. :D Talking 'bout repaints, what happened to those Cybertron recolors of the G1 Predacons? Would like to see pics of them.

Well, I liked the Snarl mold. I may have to hunts the ebays for this one (:

edit:
Predacon repaints? Cybertron? DO tell! I always thought Scourge was a nice homage to Predaking.

I'm very thankful that all these characters are the BotCon exclusives since I have zero desire to add more repaints of leftover molds to my collection and call them "Classics". This just saved me a LOT of time & money on eBay :)

Freaking FABULOUS!! I really wanted a certain yellow seeker, but THIS is most definately a worthy substitute.

Just a thought, but when they place a production order for these it must be far enough in advance that they don't know how many attendee vs non attendee packs they're going to sell. In theory doesn't that mean that there should be some spare Mirages floating around somewhere? What happens to those?

Well, the number of Primus packages was finite. So, one would assume that the attendee figures were ordered in the same number.

OR, they destroy the extras as they do with Pro sports shirts and caps for the losing team of a major event.

Good point. Here is what I *think* will happen. The clear Mirage will be on e-bay nad have similar prices to last years free figure. Clear Mirage is also given away to the people tha volunteer at BotCon as a Thank you gift. For the seekers, I think you will see a lot of them on e-bay as most people had a boxed and a loose set and most were talking about selling them. The problem will be the purchaseable exclusives, these are ging to be the high priced ones on e-bay.

cool, but 500 dollars is a bit pricey to pretend that mirage is invisible.

right now there is high prices but it may come down as more are put up.

Clear Mirage would be cool but isn't a must have for me, not Alpha Trion on the other hand...hope that its has high priced and hard to find as last years Megatron and the previous Ratchet.

Really want Trion but don't want to fight ebay.

mirage is the worst mold in the classic line in my opinion and I dont think cheap clear plastic will save it hence it makes sense for it to be a "thank you" gift. But I must say the rest of the 07 botcon are very nice.

I'm not a big fan of clear plastic figs.

THat $500 eBay price is absolutely disgusing, especially considering the damned thing was free.

I wish all the botcon exclusives were like this Mirage. I don't mind the springer or weirdwolf either, but Huffer! C'mon, everyone knew that figure was Huffer. I bought the blue one, great figure, but I was waiting for a Huffer repaint and of course it's a botcon exclusive. This one especially ticks me off because they're releasing a black armorhide at target, why couldn't that one have been orange? I almost hope they don't continue classics now, I'd have a huge gap in my collection between the seekers, trion, and now huffer. Whatever, just whatever.

I'm happy for those of you who get to go to botcon though, have fun!

It would have been better if he was really CLEAR, not transparent blue. Clear clear would make the illusion of being invisible more believeable that way...but oh well, at least there are still more Classics..........even if they are see through...........
