Although having read about the simple colour swaps going on (Prime's in Galvatron's scheme, Grimlock's in Trypticon's), the addition of blue on thw clear plastic baffles me. I personally would have prefered to have it rather noticable that it was a pallete swap of Prime's colours, and therefore the applications could have reflected it too (Blue calves, fists and head, grey thighs, waist and chest details, and red arms and torso, for example).
Or at least, if I were in the designer's shoes at least.
That's too predictable. They want to change it a little bit because remember, this is supposedly not a place where Prime had that color scheme, so there would be no reference/inspiration for Megs to get those colors in thos particular places.
Of course, then there is Starscream.
It might simply be because, while an exact Jetfire colored Starscream mold looks nice, a Megatron with the exact same style coloring in Prime's colors would look hideous!!!
