This is really the first convention set I've seen in a very long time that just doesn't do it for me. Usually I can find something I like in everything Transformers, but this set is lackluster at best to me. I feel like I'm getting a set of MOTU Faker like characters. Bummed so far ... hopefully the convention comic will turn my opinion of these figures around.

Probably did not want to have to have something that required even more paint apps. But I agree it would have been nice to use the Armada mold instead of the remolded Cybertron planet key using mold and give us another minicon.
It should have been easy enough to swap the new head with the old...
