Off the top of my head I reckon Y8980 is about £40, which is pretty steep for a DVD + repaint even in the UK. I know DVDs are usually mad-expensive in Japan, but still...
I suspect he has an Autobot logo for the same reason that the original movie Starscream prototype had a damaged face- to impact the resale value of the proto. Of course, faction-switching just makes it a unique variant and is likely to push the price up more...
