Why has Ultra Magnus undertaken this hazardous journey, when now - more than ever - his presence is needed by the Autobots on his homeworld? The answer lies just two Earth days ago, with Optimus Prime, Prowl and Ratchet's disappearance from within the Ark; an event which left the Autobots leaderless and the Creation Matrix missing. Emirate Xaaron - leader of the Autobot resistance movement - decided that it was an event too serious to overlook, even with a mass uprising only days away. And so, Ultra Magnus comes to Earth, with a mission - and precious little time to play with. He's certainly got no time to concern himself with the Earth-based Autobots' current nemesis, Galvatron. The newly arrived Decepticon can't have anything to do with his mission! Or...can he?
