Well, if I remember it right, the first wave consisted of OP, Megatron (both without battle damage), Bumblebee, Jetfire, Starscream, Springer, Sideswipe, & Ratchet.

The US will be getting the black Ironhide, but only as part of the Target-exclusive 'Straightaway Shootout' box set.

I'd be extremely surprised if these didn't see a US release. Wheelie and Soundwave were first unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con, and many of these also showed up in Wal-Mart's computer system as long ago as April...

Legends Wheelie is a must-buy for me. I passed on the Deluxe.
And Legend Soundwave is kind of neat and cute, so I'll probably get him.

There's a concept called "making money". A company as successful as Hasbro doesn't get to where it is without diversifying its product lines.

Do you miss the 80s era of Transformers enough to not own any post G1 figures?

Btw, what the hell happened to Ironhide, was he involved in a car crash at some point? That looks so bad.

This is like when they killed off so many characters in 1986 Movie just to push new toys.

At retail, they are not sell 8 figures as a set. We can buy it individually, the catch is all boxes are blindfolded. You dont know what are you getting.

I hate blind-boxes, you can literary buy bunch of boxes but still can't get the figure you want, which you eventually resort to ebay.

Maybe you can do the technique where you shake the box or press on it to guess what's inside it.

Does that mean they open up the boxes to check the contents inside?
