Baltimore Sun has posted an interview with Lester Speight that plays the role of Hardcore Eddie, a member of Sergeant Epps's good-guy mercenary crew in Transformers Dark Of The Moon.
Not only Lester has to carry the biggest gun in the movie, he is famously provided the comedy relief in the funniest, most persuasive moment. While Decepticons level Chicago, Eddie tells Epps, "I didn't sign up for this!"

I didn't even notice the guy. I know he was complaining about having a heart attack when he was supposed to use the rocket launcher on the tower, but other than that he was another one of the "OHHHHHH!" and "AAAAHHHH! and "AYYYYYEEEEE!" guys flying around in building that big bad wormicon was ripping apart. Kind of a waste of talent, his part was.

Honestly I didn't find that part in the movie as comical as I did sobering. But he was a likeable character.

to bad Mr. Speight didn't have more time in this movie... i thought his parts, although short in the spotlight where hillarious..... during the building scene when he's about to launch the rocket launcher,he says to himself.... "it doesn't matter if i'm gonna die in this building, i'm gonna have a heart attack anyway" during the sequence of events that is happening to his team and himself at this time... the line fits perfectly and funny.. too bad bay didn't use him more... Good job Mr. Speight even though your time was short, you did provide some commical spots during a very fast action sequence..

This guy wasn't bad
the movie was amazing except for a few things 1 why does sam have mikeala's dog bones? 2 i saw the vehicles of skids and mudflap? 3 they overkilled starscream 4 megatron barely did anything and his death sucked they should have just let him survive? lastly so they saved chicago and that's the end but what about all those decepticons that were at the pillars all over the world? Do they just self destruct?
Other then that i loved this movie deffinetley the best of the 3
thank you michael bay
