A week or so ago, TFYuki tweeted an image of Takara Tomy Transformers Legends packages, featuring Arcee, Chromia and Windblade, along with upcoming releases Nightbird, Blackarachnia and Slipstream. The image wasn't that much of a piece of news, as the box art was barely visible, but with today's addition of individually taken LG15 Nightbird Shadow and LG16 Slipstream, that's a different matter - check them out mirrored below!

These look fantastic. Even Slipstream looks much better than I thought she did originally.

Now we just need a Paradron Medic out of the Arcee toy and I'll be a happy camper. Sandstorm needs his generic girlfriend!

Thank you! I went with that AmiAmi site and pre-ordered Nightbird. It said it couldn't say how much shipping would be (the figure is roughtly £12.77) since it's a pre-order item but hopefully not too much.

No problem, they will give you a bunch of shipping options, from cheap/ slow to expensive/fast so you can choose the cheapest option then (I can guarantee that the cheapest option still makes this the cheapest place to buy the figure).

It's not the new-mold BW Blackarachnia I wanted, but it's close enough. I mean, I'm sticking with my Animated Blackarachnia as it is (same mold after all), but this looks pretty good. I wish they'd given her more substantial front legs though.

So far, Legends has only been about using preexisting molds rather than making new ones, so I wouldn't expect to see new ones in this line.

It's another case of using both the Japanese and English name in one go: in kana it's "Black Widow", in the Latin alphabet it's "Blackarachnia". Has nothing to do with trademarks if I may add.

NAVI-ko's new body was like that of the Cybertron Satellite Town Commanders, being a non-toy design based on a Legion figure.

Can I just ask: how is everyone's legends UM? I've been trying to decide if I should get him, but after two faulty cw magnus' (the mechanism for pivoting the shell with the wheels on the leg cracked internally) I am severely questioning jumping through hoops for the TT one.

How is the quality of yours? Especaily for those that double-dipped on the mold.

For some reason, I'm awake at this hour. So, allow me.

TAKARA ULTRA MAGNUS IS THE TITS!
Not only is that TF one of the BEST of 2015, he's really solid and amazingly engeneered. I have no complains whatsoever about him. He even hold his guns very solidly and his colors are vibrant and aplenty.

The only bad thing is mini-Trion. Just look at him wrong and his limbs will pop off like a leper in terminal phase.

Still, paying 15$CAN more than the full Canadian price with taxes have REALLY be worth it.

TAKARA ULTRA MAGNUS IS THE TITS!
Not only is that TF one of the BEST of 2015, he's really solid and amazingly engeneered. I have no complains whatsoever about him. He even hold his guns very solidly and his colors are vibrant and aplenty.

The only bad thing is mini-Trion. Just look at him wrong and his limbs will pop off like a leper in terminal phase.

Still, paying 15$CAN more than the full Canadian price with taxes have REALLY be worth it.

How's the plastic? Mine seemed ready to crack at normal handling (and then it actually did :-x

) $70 seems a bit much, but I can't escape the feeling that I'll regret not getting him; guess since I won't be getting much from tw, it's justifiable :-P

Honestly, it's been a while since I handled a figure with SOLID plastics. Nothing feel soft at all and I never once felt nervous in any steps when transforming him without instructions. Still, I can't compare because I never handled the Hasbro version.

Interesting, it felt brittle, like I could snap it when it broke, especially the panels on the rear of the legs. Think I might go for this then, assuming no one else says the trion is crap, he needs to be able to pilot magnus!
