I don't think so. It looks different to me.

The Marvel ones are terrible looking.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

As far as the SWTFs, I don't think it's inherently a bad idea to put the two together, but I think it was a bad idea to use SW characters for the robot modes.
TF characters - or new characters for that matter - would have granted them more flexibility in technical and aesthetic design, and would have captured both Star Wars fans (who have shown themselves willing to buy non-3.75"-scale figures in the past) and Transformers fans, who'd want new incarnations of favorite characters.
If you wanted to get really wild, you could release battlepacks that paired SWTFs with rereleases of old Action Fleet toys - e.g. Wedge Antilles in X-Wing vs. TIE Advanced Starscream! Luke & Dak in Snowspeeder vs. AT-AT Onslaught! Princess Leia in Y-Wing vs. Sandcrawler Longhaul! Or something like that.
Maybe there was something about their agreement with Lucas that prohibited that, though.
