I just learned today that there actually is a ross near me.

Just found what Gamestop is calling a clearance on the OG series 1 Alt modes for $3.97 each.

While Americans have been getting very sweet deals on Fortress Maximus, Canada was left in the cold. Well, enough of that, Canadians can now purchase Fortress Maximus for $ 129.98 CAD (which is the equivalent of $100 USD). While the item is listed for 149.98, you can get it for an additional $20 less by either going online or in store and you use the current Hasbro coupon.

The same thing can be done with Masterpiece Bumblebee, which can be acquired for $ 49.98 CAD (about $38 CAD) by using the same coupon.

I was able to use it for Bee and others were able to use it fir Max. Just give it a shot, it should work.

I was about to buy him online and I then remembered that he was sold in US stores for like 60$ recently. Why would I be a sucker and pay like 150$ with taxes for a toy I might get cheaper in a few months? Worst case, I don't get him, which is ok since I have zero attachment for this character.

As the article says, you can get him for 130$.

And yeah, he was found in a US store for little, but we dont have that store in Canada (Ross) and the markets are very different.

Yeah...I was a sucker after all and bought the damn Fortress Max at my local Toys r us. With the coupon, I paid 150$, which I guess is ok considering I payed 115$ for Metroplex 3 years ago.

I was a Fortmax denier but when I finally got mine at 129$CAN (all included) I fell in love. It definitely look better than Metroplex and unless they produced a ridiculous overstock, Fortmax will be worth more than what you paid for down the line. Even used without a box.

But you're forgetting about the cassettes, too. Different color cassettes are worth it. Plus Megatron. And another energy cube, and a clear gun. Just keep Soundwave in the box.

Are they not made of the plastic that breaks at the joint if you look at them funny? Not GPS this time, I mean transparent plus they are fragile as hell before they are made of flimsy plastic

So far only a couple transparent tabs broke on him and the stock for the Megatron gun the sliders broke

Has anyone here ever managed to get wave 3 off of hts? I've been checking the site religiously for ages and zilch. All my local stores are stocked with wave 1 still.

Dude, its Walmart, they accept returns 3 months later. So I always buy it when I see it. And then wait for a sale. Like that when the sale comes up, I buy it again and return it to walmart with my original receipt. Worse case, I end up with the toy and never pay aftermarket prices.

Great but KEEP THE RECEIPT. Not only so taht you can return it if theres a sale but because so far all the Triggerhappys found in Quebec have the wrong guns. You get the same gun twice instead of 2 different guns that can tab together. Let me know if yours is like that too.

Still, I can confirm that Triggerhappy is one MAGNIFICENT figure. Had a bit of trouble figuring out the legs transformation though.

Ypu keep everything until they fix it and have him back on the shelves. This defect didnt spread to the US or the UK so any subsequent release will be fixed. Then you buy that fixed one and return your defective one. Thats what i will do.

But even if that lone gun never get fixed, I still have no regrets because Trigger Happy is one of the BEST transformers I had for a long time. No matter the lines. Heck that bot is perfect, with optional gun-arms! The transformation is fun and clever. Plus that spaceship mode is PERFECT. Even from the underside. and that's quite an acomplishment.

Same ones. I had gotten another triggerhappy to see just in case and it was the same guns again. Its not an isolated incident, an entire shipment of these are shipped with the same guns as if the factory overproduced a side.

I am deciding which figures I want and putting money aside for them. Plus I might also wait for reviews. For a while I really wanted a Wolfwire but hearing about how many problems people were having with it makes me glad I never found one at retail.
