You're probably thinking 'we've seen the new Transformers: The Last Knight teaser trailer already' - and you'd be correct. But we now have a Super HD version directly from Paramount up on our YouTube channel, and embedded below, so you can feast your optics on the latest Bayhem production!

Don't mind us, we're riding the train of the hype that the Transformers: The Last Knight teaser trailer set off. Seibertronians Seibertron and ScottyP bring us a small round-up of tidbits concerning the song used in the trailer: a cover of "Do You Realise?" by The Flaming Lips.
The cover used in the trailer is by Ursine Vulpine, and slows it down considerably, while adding elements of previous tracks used for the Michael Bay projects - as worked on by Steve Aoki and Steve Jablonsky, with bands Imagine Dragons and Linkin Park. We know that the latter composer is part of the movie once more, and none of the others are (for now), so he may have had his hands somewhere around the cover.
What is particularly interesting is the Transformers-related connection of the original song: IDW writer of More Than Meets the Eye James Roberts chooses a couple of songs for each new issue in the series, as a "reading soundtrack"; the original 'Do You Realise?' was chosen for More Than Meets The Eye issue 8: 'Scavengers Part 2 - Who's Afraid of the DJD?'.

Only tangentially Transformers-related, and you'll see why below, we have some new videos directly from Hasbro YouTube showcasing some of their employees and their interests, in a new series called Hasbro Stories (or #hasbrostories, for the social mediaites out there). The most relevant to us is Carlos, who talks about his involvement with robots, fiddles with a Fall of Cybertron Bumblebee, Rescue Bots and Age of Extinction toys, and has plenty of Robots in Disguise and movieverse footage to accompany his clip. While we wait for new trailer to drop, we have some news on the international partnerships that Paramount is tying with distribution and marketing, for Transformers: The Last Knight but not only - specifically in China, according to China Film Insider. After last time's issues with 1905 Internet Technology and the various deals in the Asian country, it looks like Huahua Media will be signing on with the US studios for the fifth Michael Bay film alongside other US productions - find out more below, and here for the full piece!
Huahua Media has become an exclusive partner in China with Paramount Pictures for the roll-out of Transformers:The Last Knight (变形金刚5：最后的骑士), the next installment in the billion-dollar blockbuster franchise based on the Hasbro toy line.
Details of the deal are still unclear but a statement released by the two-year-old Chinese company trumpeted the deal as particularly groundbreaking for an agreement between a Chinese and a US company in the film industry.
Huahua CEO Wang Kefei joined Paramount’s Chairman and Chief Executive Brad Grey, Megan Colligan, worldwide president of marketing and distribution, and Nic Crawley, President of International Marketing & Distribution to ink the deal in Shanghai on Thursday.
The agreement most likely means that the company will be replacing 1905 Internet Technology as Paramount’s Chinese production partner for the franchise.

More Than Thirty Years of Transformers History Collides in an Epic High-Definition 3D Action-Fighting Game
SAN FRANCISCO – December 1, 2016 – Kabam, a world leader of massively multiplayer mobile games for a global audience, and Hasbro Inc. today announced the title and key details of TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight, a new high-definition, action-fighting mobile game set in an immersive world. The new title will enter beta testing in select territories soon and will be available worldwide in Spring 2017.
