The rumored director for the upcoming Transformers Live-Action movie is Paul Anderson. He´s the guy responsible for movies such as Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, and the upcoming Alien VS Predator feature films. Fan reaction should be quite mixed if this is true.

In what seems to be a curious note, a Curious Ebay auction has shown the "prototype" Universe Sideswipe (which is a Purple Repaint of Armada Sideswipe. The curious part is that now he is a decepticon. Check out the Autobot that chose to follow Wheeljack´s footsteps rather then Hot Shot´s right here

according to a Hasbro insider, the Mazda RX-08 Transformer, named Skids by Toywiz.com will NOT have the name Skids, why Toywiz has posted the name is a complete mystery.

Hasbro to Shrink Energon Megatron?

Rumor has it that Hasbro may be following Takara´s lead (surprise, surprise, eh?) and shrink down the Energon version of Megatron. Some HK "dealers" have already marked up the Early Bird prototypes of the larger E-Megs. Many of you already know that Energon Megatron isn´t coming out until May (pushed back from early reports that said it might be available as early as March), this could be the reason. If this is true, the figures price will drop by about 10-15 dollars and be to scale with the rest of the Energon figures, so it´s not all bad.

a new written material (probably a Novel), is being registered by sites such as Amazon.com and Half.com. The release is somewhere between May and June 2004. Keep your eyes (and Wallets) ready for this. the Estimated Retail Price is $7.99
EDIT: Raymond T. Pointed this out: This is no a new novel coming out. It´s the third Cine-Manga comics from Tokyopop that keeps being pushed back. So far no release date has been confirmed. Seeing as Amazon.com and Half.com can´t decide on a date either, I would not consider this a confirmed date.

(The three books were all supposed to hit the selves last year)
